I’m sorry, Tracey. I lost my dad, but not my mom, she lives down the street! I’m struggling, though, because although we used to be so close, she drives me nuts now. I adore her – it’s just that she drives me crazy. I try hard to remember that I only have her for a little while longer.

Thanks everyone, I always try to think of all the positive, all of the good times we had and to raise a glass of cheer on her behalf. Truth is I aslways feel more lost and empty on that date than any other. I suppose the memories of the loss feel more fresh. One thing is for sure, she’s be first to say how lucky I was to have all of you in my life. She was a great believer that good friends were the very foundation of life and I have the best here.
